Many have asked me if you can learn to knit socks using my Regina Socks pattern, even if you’ve never knitted a pair before.
And my answer is yes, absolutely! 🌿
When I created this design, I recorded step-by-step videos for each stage of the knitting process. It is true that it isn't the simplest pattern —since it features a reinforced heel flap and is worked from the ankle down to the toes —but the main stitch pattern is very simple (just knits and purls), and with the videos as a guide, you'll be able to make it without any trouble. 📖
However, if you want to start with something even easier, I’d like to recommend the pattern I used to learn how to knit socks myself : the 80 Retro Socks by Belén Fernández .
This design is intended for beginners; it is knitted toe-up , features a German short-row heel (the simplest of all), and Belén explains it wonderfully.
Both patterns— Regina Socks and 80 Retro Socks —are available in Spanish, so you can choose the one that excites you most to get started 🧦💕

And if you’re already dreaming of the colors, here is a selection of Meia and Meia Print yarns—soft, durable, and perfect for socks—available at cataknits.com :
There are so many solid colors (you're sure to find the shade you're imagining 💕), as well as beautiful variegated effects.
I’ve also put together a small selection of patterns in Spanish that you can download from Ravelry to inspire you and help you practice (the first one is free!).
