Dorotea is a seamless, top-down knitted vest featuring a classic crew neck. Its standout feature is a decorative colorwork motif that adds a touch of color and personality to this versatile, easy-to-style piece.
Sizes: (XS, S, M, L-XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL). The model is wearing size M with 5 cm / 2” of positive ease.
Finished Garment Measurements: Approx. (78, 89, 100, 111) (122, 133.5, 144.5) cm / (31.25, 35.5, 40, 44.5) (48.75, 53.5, 57.75) ” bust circumference.
Recommended Ease: Approx. 5-15 cm / 2-6 " of positive ease.
How to Choose Your Size: Measure your bust circumference with a measuring tape. Add your desired amount of ease to your actual bust measurement (you can use the recommended ease range as a guide). Choose the finished garment measurement that is closest to this number.
Gauge: 18 sts x 30 rows/rounds = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 "] with the main needles in stockinette stitch, worked both flat and in the round, after blocking.
Suggested Needles
Main Fabric: 5 mm / 80 cm [US 8 / 32"] circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finishing: 4.5 mm / 80 cm [US 7 / 32"] circular needles, or 0.5 mm smaller than the main needles.
Armholes and neckline: 4.5 mm double-pointed needles, or your preferred needles for working small circumferences (such as short circular needles or long circular needles for Magic Loop).
