The Catal Top allows you to show off a subtly lowered neckline, without being too revealing. On a summer day, you can wear it with shorts or a skirt, or pair it with jeans in mid-season.
This is a revised version of the original pattern, including more sizes and a neater way to decrease. It is worked in-the-round, completely seamless and from the bottom up, until the armholes. Front and back are then separated, and worked flat until the shoulders.

Finished circumference around the bust:
(79, 88, 98) [107, 117, 129] {139, 148, 158} cm
(31.5, 35.25, 39.25) [42.75, 46.75, 51.5] {55.5, 59.25, 63.25}”.
Positive ease: approximately 2 cm/0.75” to 5 cm/2”.
To choose your size, add the desired ease to the current measurement of your bust and then find the closest measurement in the schematic. For example: if your bust is 86 cm/34.5”, you should knit size 2 which has a final measurement of 88 cm/35.25” (with 2 cm/0.75” of positive ease).
Gauge: 19 stitches x 30 rounds (10 cm/4”) with main needles after blocking in stockinette stitch.
Suggested needle size : 4 mm/US 6 main circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge. 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needles, or two sizes smaller than the main needle. Cable lengths may vary as needed.
